Incident Stroke and TIA
Here lists variables in the files 'hhf-stroke_and_tia_incident_cases.csv' and 'hhf-stroke_and_tia_incident_cases.rds'. These files are identical, and include variables used to capture incident diabetes reported in HHFs 1, and 3.

| STROKEDXTX_0 | Prevalent stroke. This is captured using the 'year of first diagnosis' variable, and the question, 'Have you been treated for this in the last 12 months?'. |
| TIADXTX_0 | Prevalent transient ischemic attack (TIA). This is captured using the 'year of first diagnosis' variable, and the question, 'Have you been treated for this in the last 12 months?'. |
