AHS-2 Nutrition
The purpose of this section is to provide a Data Dictionary of the nutrient variables that are derived from the AHS-2 data. The variables in this section represents the total calculated values from the AHS-2 data.
This section provides a brief description of the variable, the units of measure and in some cases, the Dietary Reference Intake (DRI).
One common use for these variables is to combine them with food groups
to produce food group-specific nutrients.
Specific details are generally taken from the Nutrition Data System for Research 2008 User Manual
